The Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College has organized a National Level Blended Workshop on "Emerging Trends in Intellectual Property Rights in Indian Context" in collaboration with Assam Women's University, Jorhat and Dikhowmukh College, Sivasagar from 2nd November to 8th November 2023. A total of 147 participants joined the workshop from different parts of the country.

A State Level Students Seminar was organised by Social Science Research Cell and Language Research Cell, Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College on the topic "Culture & Heritage of North-East India: Its Prospects and Perspectives" on 8th April 2023. Dr Pratim Sharmah, Dikhowmukh College, Dr Debajeet Sharma and Dr Birinchi Kr Borah of Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College acted as resource person of the occasion.

A Programme on analysis of union Budget has been organised by the Department of Economics Department, Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College amongst the students and teachers of the college. Mrs Minati Gogoi, HoD, Dept of Economics delivered her lecture as resource person with the emphasis of Amrit Kaal Budget.

An initiative of IQAC for the students in order to upgrage their personalities for career progression and placement. Mr Sunil Borah, Senior Trainer, ICT Academy, Guwahati delivered his lecture as resource person. The activity was conducted as an activity under MOU with ICT Academy.

A weeklong blended workshop on "Teaching, Learning, Evaluation and NCF" was organised by Social Science Research Cell and Language Research Cell, Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College in collaboration with Inspector of Schools, Sivasagar and Charaideo District for the school teachers and Heads/ Principals of the Schools from 25th July, 2022. The technical sessions of the workshop have been conducted both in offline and Online mode via Cisco WebEx.

A webinar was organised by Social Science Research Cell, Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College and Student Support and Progression Cell, Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya in collaboration with LISPA, Assam.

A Student Workshop on "Skill of Seminar Paper Writing" organised by the Language Research Cell and Social Science Research Cell, Jhanji Hemnath College held at Conference Hall on 2nd March, 2020. Dr Binoybrat Rajkhowa, Assistant Professor, C. K. B. College, Teok was present on the occasion as a resource person.

A career Orientation Programme was organised for the students by the Assam College Teachers' Association, Sivasagar Zone in collaboration with the Career Counselling Cell of the College. Resource Person, Kauranga Borgohain, Sibsagar Commerce College delivered his lecture in front of the gathering.

One day students’ workshop titled “Sikha Aru Jivan: Chatra-Chatrir Bhumika” was organised by Literature forum, Assamese Department. Himen Bhattacharjya, Retired Teacher delivered his valuable lecture as a resource person of the workshop.

A Faculty Development Programme on "Effective Teaching in Blended Learning Era" was organised on blended mode in collaboration with Teaching Learning Centre, Tezpur University. A total 98 participants successfully completed the programme.

An online seminar programme on “Career Counselling and Development” was organised in collaboration with ICT Academy as an activity of MOU/collaboration.

A Workshop was organised on “Bihu, as a subject of (H.S) Course” by IQAC and NSS unit of the college in collaboration with Assam Bihu Suraksha Samiti, Sibsagar unit, and District Education Department. Kamal Jyoti Gogoi participated as the resource person for the event.

A one day NRL-sponsored workshop on “Entrepreneurship development” was organised by Research, Innovation & Extension Cell, IQAC in collaboration with ARGUCOM, Sivasagar.

An Awareness Programme on the “Yoga Certificate Course” organised by NSS Unit and Student Support and Progression Cell, IQAC in collaboration with Sati Joymoti Yoga Mahavidyalaya, Sivasagar. Dev Das Singha, Principal, S.J.Y.Mahavidyalaya & Jayanta Raj Konwar participated in the event as resource persons.

One day online workshop on “Preparation for Competitive Examination " was organised by the Research, Innovation and Extension cell of IQAC of the college. Bhanita Nath, APS, ACP (Women Unit) Panbajar, Guwahati and Jintu Borah, ACS, Circle Officer, Chandrapur Revenue Circle, Guwahati acted as resource person of the programme.

A special lecture programme was organised and Dr Chayanika Borah, Asst. Prof. of Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat delivered her valuable speech as a resource person on the different dimensions of entrepreneurship development. The programme was organised by the Career Counselling Cell, IQAC.

A one-day workshop on Preparation of Lesson Plan organised by the Institutional Values and Best Practices Cell, IQAC. Dr. Basanta Gogoi, Principal, of Sivasagar College of Teacher’s Education participated as resource person in the programme.

A National Webinar was organised on the topic “Future of Sociology” by Dept. of Sociology, Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College in collaboration with Virangana Sati Sadhani State University.

A lecture programme was organised by Dept of Political Science, Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College in association with IQAC on the topic "The Preamble of Indian Constitution". Prof Sagidul Haque Borbora, Dept of History and Mr Basanta Handique, Dept of Political Science delivered their respective speeches on the occasion.

Amid Covid19 pandemic, a National Level Webinar on "Mental Health concern in higher education during Covid 19 pandemic" was organised by Dept. of Education, Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College in collaboration with LIPSA in which Prof Neeta Kalita Barua, Dept of Education and Director, Centre of Behavioral Psychology, Dibrugarh University delivered a lecture as a resource person.

A Field Study trip was organised by Language Research Cell (including dept. of Assamese, English & Sanskrit) to Malini than Arunachal Pradesh for experiential learning among students.

A survey was conducted by NSS volunteers in those villages in the area of Moranchiga Koiborta Gaon, Chikirisuk and Sulotia Gaon, Sivasagar District
