Governing Body's Message

Jhanji Hemnath Sarma College (erstwhile Jhanji College) was established in 1964 with complete endeavour of the local people and well-wishers. It was not a easy matter in those days to develop the institution to their expectations. The college had to struggle through a long time for its honourable existence. However, with financial and all other help from the government of Assam and other institutions like U.G.C, R.U.S.A, etc., the college is now marching towards it's long expected goals. Stepping with the demands of the day it is going to provide education in different fields to it's pupils. A large number of teaching and non-teaching staff, under the able and dynamic leadership of principal Dr. Manjit Gogoi are contributing their best efforts to achieve the goal. As the president of the governing body of the college, I owe them all great regards and love and thank them for their sincere efforts and dedication to this centre of learning. I also offer my thanks and best regards to the local M.L.A. Sri Pradip Hazarika for giving me this chance to serve my college in this capacity and his all-round assistance in time.
