Special Talk & Students Seminar of Deptt. of Assamese

 "Formal education can only provide one of the four parts of the education we need for life. Life cannot be enriched by studying only textbooks and prescribed curriculum in schools and colleges. Students must keep their minds open and new things all the time. “Education & Life : The Role of Students" in the context of the keynote address of the Special Talk and Students Seminar organized by the Department of Assamese, the Educationist, retired teacher Himen Bhattachryya said: The Programme was chaired by Mrs. Navanita Bora, HoD of Assamese and inaugurated by Dr. Manjit Gogoi, Principal Of the College. The 14th-15th issue of the annual magazine 'Ankur' published by the Department of  Assamese was inaugurated  by Mr. Bhabani Kumar Barua, Formar Principal of the College.  It is worth mentioning that the department has been continuously publishing this magazine with editing by students.  The Vice-Principal, Kundil Kumar Mudai and Coordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell,  Mr.  Bidyadhar Barua were present as the guests of honour.  The second part of the program was a student seminar where the students of the Department presented 14 nos of seminar paper in different Topics.
